Elyse McKenna

It is incredibly difficult for a loved one to be admitted to a nursing home or long-term care facility. As a nursing home abuse attorney and medical malpractice lawyer, it is an honor to fight for justice and accountability on behalf of injured clients and their families.

How I Serve Clients

When choosing a nursing home or assisted living facility for a parent or loved one, most individuals thoroughly explore all options, hoping to find the best care possible.  Unfortunately, despite these efforts, one in every ten elderly residents is still subjected to abuse and neglect at senior living facilities, often resulting in significant injuries and wrongful deaths.

My father was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis a year before I was born, leaving him immobile and needing significant assistance with daily care.  My family was forced to make the very challenging decision of placing him in an assisted living facility. Unfortunately, despite best efforts to find a facility that would offer the utmost care, my father endured significant abuse and neglect.  Through this personal experience, I developed a passion for defending the rights of vulnerable residents who cannot advocate on their own behalf.

It is critical for elderly individuals to feel secure and cared for.  As a nursing home abuse attorney, I tenaciously fight in seeking to protect residents from abuse and for the accountability they deserve from facilities that fail to uphold the appropriate standards of care.

If your suspect that your loved one is being mistreated in a nursing home, I invite you to call our office to schedule a free consultation.  I can listen to the facts of your case, explain your legal options, and zealously advocate on your loved one’s behalf for the care, justice, and full compensation they rightfully deserved.
